General

  • Circuit altitude is 687 ft AMSL (700 ft AAL).
  • Leaving the circuit is only allowed via the designated exits (see chart).
  • Entering the circuit is only allowed via entry point Sierra

Maximum number of aircraft in the circuit

  • Visibility more than 5 km: 6.
  • Visibility more than 4 km: 5.
  • Visibility between 4 km and 3 km: 4.
  • Visibility more than 3 km: 3.

RT Procedures

  • Pilots are mandated to report “FINAL FULL STOP” (FINAL TOUCH AND GO), when the visibility is less than 3 km “DOWNWIND” and “TURNING FINAL” also have to be reported.
  • Pilots are mandated to report “turning off radio” or “switching off” to Lelystad radio when shutting down the aircraft.
  • Arriving aircraft who’s operational limits do not allow for flying the published circuit are allowed to execute a straight-in approach. This has to be reported well in advance to Lelystad Radio. If the aircraft is established for landing “FINAL STRAIGHT IN, 2 MINUTS OUT” is also reported.
  • VFR-flights have to remain outside of the Schiphol TMA.
